               FEMALE SEEKING FINANCIAL HELP

                   FOR A COLLEGE EDUCATION

       I am a 46 year old female going back to school to work toward my law degree.  I have worked in lawfirms off and on for over 20 years. I also owned my own business for seven years.  I am rebuilding my life after a sad divorce that nearly destroyed me emotionally, mentally, physically and financially.  I can now breath again, striving to get where I have always wanted to be.

I am currently enrolled full-time at a two year college at Eastern Oklahoma State College, carrying 18 semester hours. I received a $50.00 scholarship and I have a friend that is helping me this semester but I am in need of more financial help to continue on with my quest.  My vehicle is 19 years old with 270,000 miles and I am in need of a newer vehicle with good gas mileage.  I drive a lot every day back and forth to school.  I borrow a computer and need one of my own and I am in need of financial assistance with tuition, computer expenses, living expenses, gas, etc.

I am trying very hard to make my dream come true.  My dream is to be a criminal defense trial attorney and a personal injury attorney.  I would then like to give back to society by taking elderly cases pro-bono. 

There is nothing to hold me back now but finances and this is why I am asking for help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My son is scheduled to go to college in October.  I have no money to pay for it. He has been working and volunteering in his field of study.  His major will be in Entertainment Business, and he will minor in Show Production and Touring.  He volunteers at a comunity theater where he has built sets, designed the lights, hung th lights ran the light board, been the assistant stage manager, ect. If he can not go to college it will be devistating.  He has been accepted to Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando Fl.  

After he graduates from Full Sail with a Bachalors degree he wants to go on to get a Masters degree.

For 8 years I was a stay at home mom and my husband was the bread winner then in 1999 he left that job to try to start are own business.  We went thru our savings that year and we couldn't make a go of the business as we ran out of funds. He then had a hard time finding employment as he does not have a degree and very few companies want to hire him for the upper level management jobs because of this.  Although he  has been in upper level managment.

Although I had gone back to work I didn't make much as I did not have a college degree and still don't make that much.  3 years ago we lost our house to brankruptcy and forclosure.  2 years ago while my husband was unemployed he had a heart attack at the age of 42.  We still have unpayed medical bills from then.  My husband also suffers from depression.

In another 2 years my daughter will be ready for college. 

This cycle needs to be broken, the only way to break it is for my children to be able to go to and finish college.

Are main needs are to have money for both children to go to college and then having enough to pay down some of our debt.  

I need money to further my education.
